Green Light Products- These are exemplary items that especially embody our values. Whenever possible, these products will be kept at eye level and at reasonable prices. They will also be featured on end caps and at demos.

- Organic
- Locally Produced
- Socially responsible business or product
- Free of hard or unknown chemicals
- Free of unnecessary excipients

Yellow Light Products- Community Market recognizes the following list as Yellow Light Products. These are products that do not meet our Green Light standards but we feel are necessary due to customer demand or unavoidable (such as GMOs). Educational information will be accessible to staff and customers regarding these issues.

- Gelatin capsules
- Milk or Egg derivatives
- Any ingredient from ‘Excipient’ List
(stearic acid, magnesium stearate, silicone
dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose, etc…)

Red Light Products- These items are banned from the store.

- Coral Calcium
- Non-vegetarian ingredients
- Wild-crafted endangered herbs
- Companies that test on animals
- Products that use unethical or disrespectful advertising or marketing
